VIDEO Arnold Schwarzenegger ‘goes undercover’ for Gold’s Gym and a good cause
Despite his black wig and mustache, Arnold Schwarzenegger couldn’t fool most people at a Venice, Calif. Gold’s Gym. The result is a hilarious Undercover Boss/Candid Camera-esque montage.
Even though he got knowing reactions from most gym goers, The Governator remained committed to his character — even when one guy called him out by his real name.
Still, the best reaction came from one lady who couldn’t quite put her finger on it…
“You look so familiar to me,” she commented while Arnold tried to give her weight-lifting advice.
Arnold quickly responded, “Maybe you saw me on the FBI Most Wanted list.”
Even when his identity wasn’t called into question, Arnold proved he’s got jokes.
“Stop being a baby,” he chastised one man on the stairclimber. “This is Gold’s Gym. This not a baby gym.”
Although the video has comedic value all on its own, it isn’t just for laughs: Arnold’s collaborating with After-School All-Stars, a program that provides free programs to keep children safe and help them succeed in school and in life.
If watching the video made you wish for some one-on-one time with Arnold, you can go ahead and purchase a $10 raffle ticket on the After-School All-Stars website. The winner will fly out to Los Angeles to “ride a tank together, work out together, smoke cigars together” with Arnold.
The tickets benefit the program. Plus…
“When you guys help provide these kids with health and leadership education, I will match your donations,” he said on a Reddit AMA post. “I’m asking you to make me spend my money.”
