Singer, reality television star, and social media maven Tila Tequila has been in the hospital for the last week after suffering a brain aneurysm and then overdosing on prescription pills. The outspoken diminutive starlet was released from the hospital today, but the news is not good because according to a source close to her she still hasn’t fully regained her ability to speak and doctors are afraid she may have suffered brain damage.

The report comes from Radar Online, who spoke with a source close to Tila who tells them she suffered the brain aneurysm in the middle of the night and the resulting pain and confusion led Tila to take two bottles of prescription pills.

“Tila threw up all over her bed after overdosing and felt like she was dying. She was screaming for help, and in desperation, broke her bedroom window and attempted to jump out,” the source said.

“Finally a friend came over after getting a strange text from her and found her convulsing on the bed. He called an ambulance and she was taken to the hospital.”

Tila spent time in two different hospitals and reportedly the 30-year-old lost a lot of weight, dropping from 100 pounds to 78 pounds – a frightening weight even for someone measuring only 4′ 11″.

Tila will be entering an outpatient program as she recovers.

UPDATE – TMZ seems to have a conflicting account of what happened which makes no mention of a brain aneurysm. According to them, Tila was rushed to the hospital after her roommate called 911 and told police Tila had “tried to kill herself all week.”

From TMZ:

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … emergency responders came to the home at 1:30 AM on Wednesday … and Tila was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph’s hospital in Burbank, CA.

Sources say Tila was in and out of consciousness in the house … and officials decided she needed psychiatric help, stat.
