No offense to Kim Kardashian and her Keeping Up With the Kardashian co-stars, but Paris Hilton thinks her old reality show is better. At least, that’s what the original celebutante seemed to insinuate with her recent comments…
“As far as I’m concerned, The Simple Life was the best reality TV show going, and it turned 10 years old recently,” Paris told Britain’s Heat. “It’s timeless, iconic and you can still watch it.”
Although Paris believes The Simple Life is still the reality show high bar, she admitted she hasn’t done much research into what is currently on the air.
“I don’t watch reality TV now, because I don’t have time,” said Paris, who recently signed a new contract to continue DJ’ing at a club in Ibiza. She added her schedule made it impossible to film a Simple Life reunion with former co-star Nicole Richie, even though producers supposedly asked.
Even though she hasn’t actually kept up with the Kardashians, Paris did give her former BFF credit for maintaining a popular show.
“Reality TV is a lot of hard work, and Kim has done well for herself,” Paris said of Kim, whom she famously had a falling out with around the time KUWTK began.
In terms of harder proof about whose show was better, voters on Internet Movie Database gave The Simple Life a score of 3.2 and KUWTK a score of 2.3.
