The ATL ladies are back for season 7 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and if the first episode is any indication, this year will be packed full of drama!
As with any new season, the ladies have brand new taglines. Check ’em out and decide which one is your fav:
Nene: Why be so nasty and so rude—when I can be so fierce and so successful.
Kandi: I’m not about the drama. Don’t start none, won’t be none.
Cynthia: Life is about choices—and I choose Cynthia.

Kenya: People get exhausted trying to figure me out. And I just let them.

While you ponder that, here’s a brief recap for those of you who might have missed the Season 7 premiere:
In the first episode, we got to see a behind-the-scenes look at Apollo on the day of his prison sentencing. It was hard to watch as the father of two came to grips with being away from his children while battling contempt for his unsupportive wife who didn’t attend his sentencing.
Other parts of the show were more light-hearted…
Nene flew her diva attitude to Las Vegas where she was beginning work as a host for the Cirque du Soleil show Zumanity. Despite previously working as a stripper, Nene appeared bashful throughout the whole episode anytime sex was mentioned.
We also got a chance to see Kandi and Todd prepare to welcome a new child into their home: Todd’s 18-year-old daughter Kaela that is! We learned that Todd didn’t know he was a father until Kaela was five years old.
Kenya’s still being Kenya. She cried to Cynthia that she needed to escape the embarrassment she felt when Porsha assaulted her during the season 6 reunion— so she flew around the world.
Cynthia continues to work on her agency and mentor young models. We got a glimpse into future drama when Cynthia alluded to having a better marriage since her and Nene haven’t spent much time together.
