Taylor Swift reacts to Demi Lovato squad slam
And the bad blood between Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato rages on…
In a candid interview with Glamour, pop star Demi Lovato shared her thoughts on Taylor Swift in light of her accusing the “Blank Space” singer of branding herself a feminist but not doing the work.
Lovato said:
Just speaking out. I’m not afraid to talk about the fact that women get paid less than men in the United States and how unfair that is. Talking about it at all is doing the work. And I think every woman does her part in some way. But I think in certain situations, certain people could be doing more if they’re going to claim that as part of their brand. To be honest, and this will probably get me in trouble, I don’t see anybody in any sort of squad that has a normal body. It’s kind of this false image of what people should look like. And what they should be like, and it’s not real.
For good measure Lovato tossed in her opinions about Swift’s feud with Katy Perry. “I think that having a song and a video about tearing Katy Perry down, that’s not women’s empowerment. We all do things that aren’t, but I have to ask myself, ‘Am I content with calling myself a feminist?’ Yes, because I speak out.”
A source close to Swift revealed her reaction to Demi’s diss with E!. “Taylor has a tight group of women in her life that all have her and each others’ back and sometimes people just want that. She thought it was unnecessary for her to make those comments. They both have never been really good friends,” the source affirmed.
Lovato then did the whole, “sorry but not sorry, don’t we have something better to talk about even though I’m talking about it, I’m gonna tweet about this but then say I’ve had it with social media” thing:
I get asked questions. I answer them. Sue me.

Also don't forget that words can be taken out of context when doing interviews.. still not apologizing for saying what everyone want to say
