Tarek and Christina update: Flip or Flop couple announces major projects, teases many more
The latest Tarek and Christina update brings the promise of “big accomplishments” from the Flip or Flop duo. What exactly does that mean? Well, they’ve completed a whole host of projects over the past few weeks, and Christina has either teased or outright promised several more on social media.
Of course, one essential accomplishment is the fact that the current season of Flip or Flop is the most successful yet to air. So it’s possible that Tarek and Christina had ratings in mind–and who could blame them?–when they teased fans with this optimistic update:
More specifically, though, we do know of one big accomplishment Tarek and Christina have yet to elaborate on: their first-ever book, Flip Your Life! By “official,” we mean that there hasn’t been a proper announcement from either Tarek and Christina or the book’s publisher; but, again, Christina got the news to fans via Instagram:
Currently #GirlBoss … Tarek and I are soooo excited to be writing our own book called #FlipYourLife. We have been working on it for a year and will be meeting publishers this week ??. In the meantime getting educated and motivated by some other inspiring writers/entrepreneurs! ***update… LOVED this book @nastygal A photo posted by Christina El Moussa (@tarekandchristina) on
In addition, the couple did launch an official Flip Your Life Facebook page, where Flip Or Flop fans can get the latest on the book & its path to publication as the news rolls in.
Beyond that, we know there’s at least one new Flip Or Flop house currently under construction…
…and who could forget Brayden, the newest addition to the El Moussa family? The little guy recently turned six months old, which means it was time for a pair of extra-cute (as opposed to just normal cute) photo updates:
Happy 6 months big boy … We ? u #braydenjames A photo posted by Christina El Moussa (@tarekandchristina) on
There is one other thing, though it’s decidedly minor. Christina recently answered one of the oldest Flip or Flop questions in existence when a fan on Facebook asked, “Is there actually an episode where a house is torn down, as it shows in the opening of every show?”
“No,” Christina replied; “it was our producer’s home that was torn down.”
So, there you go! Not a big deal, but an important update nonetheless. The current season of Flip or Flop continues Thursdays at 9 PM on HGTV.
