‘Restless’ star Henry Hopper accused of raping 15-year-old
The 21-year-old son of legendary film actor Dennis Hopper has been accused of raping a 15-year-old girl according to legal papers filed by the mother of the alleged victim.
Henry Hopper, recently featured in the lead role of Gus Van Sant’s Restless, is the target of the lawsuit obtained by TMZ. According to the documents, Hopper first met the unidentified young girl via Facebook and lured her to his home in Venice, CA by promising alcohol and drugs.
The suit claims in part that Henry Hopper:
“…preyed upon a young impressionable child, suggesting that he cared for her, luring her into his home with promises of alcohol and illegal drugs, and then repeatedly taking advantage of her youth and vulnerability.”
In detail they claim that Hopper would wait until the girl was intoxicated and then engaged in such acts as sexual intercourse, sodomy and forced oral copulation.
The mother of the girl, who is only identified as Jan Doe to protect her identity, is suing for unspecified damages claiming that her daughter suffered serious damage to her emotional health and had to seek multiple counselors in attempts to cope.
There was no indication from the filing as to whether or not the girl or family contacted police in regards to these allegations.
