According to a recent report, pop star Justin Bieber sought some higher power repentance following the publication of his racist videos.
Pastor Carl Lentz (above photo left) of the Hillsong Church in New York City told TMZ that he spent a week with Justin doing intense bible study last month after the “Baby” singer was extorted for the clips featuring him as a younger kid making racist jokes.
J.B.’s refocus on faith centered around studying Bible passages and attending church services.
This rededication culminated in Bieber getting baptized in the bathtub of a buddy’s house. He was said to have checked out various churches to get dipped but out of a desire to keep things private he decided on the tub route.
Bieber has previously identified as a Christian telling The Guardian towards the end of 2010, “I pray all the time. I pray two to three times a day. When I wake up I thank him for my blessings. I thank him for putting me in this position. And at the end of the day I get out my Bible. At home-school my tutor is Christian, so we go over Bible verses. It’s something that keeps me grounded.”
