Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan Edmonds is pregnant with her first child
Just in time for the premiere of the 11th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Meghan Edmonds announced today that she is pregnant with a baby girl!
“I’m so over the moon, I couldn’t believe it the first time I peed on a stick and I saw that little line kind of get a little darker,” she told People. “I’ve always dreamed of this, but it’s still such a miracle. I can’t even describe the feeling.”
She is about 4 months along which means the baby is expected to arrive in November.
Meghan married MLB star Jim Edmonds back in October of 2014. Jim has four children from his previous two marriages. He eventually got a vasectomy but not before freezing his sperm.
In the preview for the upcoming season, Meghan is open about her desires to start a family. The couple went through IVF with Jim’s frozen reserves and got pregnant on the first try.
“It was just such a long process with the IVF, step by step by step with so much information,” the 31-year-old admitted.
We were first introduced to Meghan back in season 9 when she appeared as a guest on the show before being promoted to an official Housewife last year. She certainly stirred the pot when it came to Brooks and #CancerGate. Brooks even threatened to sue Meghan for defamation of character based on her openly critical view that he wasn’t battling cancer. We all know how that turned out…
Congrats to Meghan, Jim, and the rest of the Edmonds bunch!
The Real Housewives of Orange County returns Monday at 9/8c on Bravo.
