Raona Singer Doe Fund Night Supporting the Men In Blue

The Big Apple saw a Real Housewives invasion last night as a few of the Bravo ladies got gussied up in support of good causes. Ramona Singer of The Real Housewives of New York City (above) joined Cynthia Bailey of The Real Housewives of Atlanta at The Doe Fund’s “Sweet: New York” event in Manhattan. Across town, Ramona’s cast mate (and other half of Frick & Frack) Sonja Morgan was in attendance at the Love Heals Gala.

Ramona Singer arrived wearing a plum cocktail dress and simple pumps while former model Cynthia seemed to be inspired by the ’60s in a gold shimmering mini with black tights and shoes and gold jewelry:

Although Cynthia and Ramona didn’t walk the red carpet together, they did pose for a couple of photos once inside the event (along with stylist Derek Warburton) and luckily, Ramona posted one on Instagram (below) for fans to see along with the caption, “Look who I ran into @cynthiabsiley10 from #rhoa sees #rhony how great @bravotv !!”

In case you were wondering about the Doe Fund, here is a brief description of their mission from their website:

To develop and implement cost-effective, holistic programs that meet the needs of a diverse population working to break the cycles of homelessness, addiction, and criminal recidivism. All of The Doe Fund’s programs and innovative business ventures ultimately strive to help homeless and formerly incarcerated individuals achieve permanent self-sufficiency.

Sonja Morgan (above), who was at The Four Seasons Restaurant for the Love Heals Gala, went a little lighter in a shimmering off-white beaded dress, simple up-do, and some gold heels.

Even though the ladies chose different events, one thing seemed to be clear — metallics are in! Both Cynthia and Sonja rocked metallic dresses and Ramona paired her outfit with a metallic clutch.

Here’s the Love Heals mission statement from LoveHeals.org:

Love Heals, the Alison Gertz Foundation for AIDS Education, empowers young people in the fight against HIV. Our HIV-positive speakers are putting a face on the epidemic, and our youth empowerment programs are training a new generation of community educators and activists. Love Heals also creates and distributes educational materials, shares its expertise and advocates for young people’s right to HIV/AIDS education. We do this in partnership with hundreds of schools and community groups throughout New York City and the surrounding areas, reaching both young people and those individuals who impact their lives, and placing a special emphasis on outreach to high-risk communities.

Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan have been in filming hiatus from The Real Housewives of New York for months now and while some reports claimed that producers weren’t happy with the progress, it’s apparently a bit of a fashion delay.

“I think that they [Bravo] don’t want to see another winter in New York, but want to see spring and summer…taking it back to The Hamptons in our sun dresses…like we used to be,” cast member LuAnn de Lesseps recently told The Examiner. “We’ve taken a little break until they’ve decided to start filming, which I think is in the spring. I think that they want to bring a new woman on or two, and getting that together.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sunday nights at 8/7c on Bravo.
