The Marissa Jade Mob Wives fan bloc is growing in size and stature, thanks to the 31-year-old model’s late addition to the cast of the popular VH1 crime (ish) drama. The network brought in two young and rising stars for Mob Wives‘ final season, but it’s Marissa who seems to be the more popular of the two.
That might be because she is, per her VH1 bio, “a very confident, beautiful, and sh*t-talking type of gal,” one who knows how to “fit right in” with the rest of the cast. Other cast members may call her “self-centered” and “conceited” (certainly a rarity for the show!), but they also pay her the respect due some who runs with a man “you don’t f*ck with.” Marissa’s boyfriend grew up with Drita’s husband Lee D’Avanzo, and allegedly runs with a lot of the same people.
According to Marissa herself, her boyfriend OZ (described as “mob muscle” by the network) is close with Renee’s family, and “was involved in the same street gang” as Lee. And, just like Lee, he doesn’t care for attention: we “won’t see him on the show–not even a phone call.”
Marissa shared that much and more during a recent interview at Wet Paint, one in which she demonstrated she’s perfectly willing to speak her mind at all times. When asked how she thought she could compliment the cast, Jade (given name Marissa Fiore) was blunt: “It’ll probably be one of the best seasons.” And why is that–other than her involvement making it so? “A lot of truth is being thrown on the table, a lot of exposing….I think the girls are really fed up with the lies and the BS, and they’re willing to come forward.”
Concluded Marissa, “I’m not really one for drama; I don’t start anything…but I’ll finish it.”
