How Kyle Richards’ Kyle by Alene Too clothing store came about
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills features business moguls Lisa Vanderpump, who runs Villa Blanca and Sur Lounge, and Adrienne Maloof, whose helps her family manage The Palms Hotel & Casino as well as the Los Angeles Clippers of NBA. This summer the show can add Kyle Richards to the list of Bravotrepreneurs as she opens up her clothing store, Kyle by Alene Too!
Located on the corner of Brighton Way and Bedford Drive in Beverly Hills, the boutique is a partnership between Kyle and Florida-based fashion retailer Alene Too. Scheduled to open sometime this summer, Kyle was photographed earlier today visiting the location:

To give you a better idea of exactly where the store will be located, here is a Google Maps photo of the location (back when it was still available):
The seed for the business venture was planted when Kyle Richards appeared at a signing for her book Life Is Not A Reality Show at Alene Too’s Regency Court location in Boca Raton, Florida on January 25th.
“I was so distracted at the signing because the store had every brand I love like Alice + Olivia, vintage Chanel and Haute Hippie,” Richards told InStyle.com. “I have to bop all over L.A. to find those designers, so this is one-stop-shopping all under one roof.”
Here’s a video from her appearance:
Kyle reached out to Alene Too co-owners Debbie Weisman and Lizzy Schwartz about the possibility of opening a Beverly Hills location. “Our three-way love affair was instant,” said Weisman in the official announcement of the partnership. “Kyle understands our vision and has the right profile and expertise to take Alene Too to the next level. We’ve been looking for opportunities to expand our brand beyond its initial success in South Florida, and the combination of Kyle and Beverly Hills is just too good to be true.”

From the announcement:
Kyle by Alene Too will feature well-known luxury brands including Matthew Williamson, What Goes Around Comes Around, Vintage Chanel, Parker, Haute Hippie, Camilla and Ramy Brook. The store will also include an exclusive concierge service. Customers will be able to schedule appointments with personal shoppers who will pull clothing and accessory items suited to their favorite designers and styles. Appointments will be available at both the store and the customer’s home.
“We have always loved West Coast style and bringing Alene Too to Los Angeles has been a dream of ours from the start. Partnering with Kyle Richards – with her incredible work ethic and amazing style is the perfect collaboration for success,” said Schwartz.
“I’m thrilled to join forces with Alene Too and its fantastic owners, Debbie Weisman and Lizzy Schwartz, to bring this amazing brand to Beverly Hills,” Kyle added.
There looks to be a Bravo cameraman in the photo, so I’m sure we will be seeing the store’s grand opening on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 3.
Congratulations to Kyle! Her opening up a clothing store in partnership with an experienced retailer seems like a great idea with potential for success, unlike 85% of the businesses started by Housewives after their appearances on television.
