Kim Kardashian’s cover photos for Paper Magazine‘s Winter 2014 are on track to doing exactly what the magazine indented.
“For our winter issue, we gave ourselves one assignment: Break The Internet,” the magazine says of the feature. “There is no other person that we can think of who is up to the task than one Kim Kardashian West. A pop culture fascination able to generate headlines just by leaving her house, Kim is what makes the web tick.”
Kim and Kanye aided the magazine by sharing the booty-bearing cover on social media. She simply hashtagged the Instagram picture #BreakTheInternet while he bragged on Twitter #ALLDAY.
Kim shot a second cover that’s a more fit to share here without censoring…
In fact, that picture is less risqué than the nude “Champagne Incident” image that inspired it. Although the pictures are yet to actually “Break the Internet,” Paper says the only way to describe the photos they’ll release on Thursday is “holy f**king s**t.” In other words, it’s about the be the Kimpocalypse. Brace yourselves.
Even though it sounds like things are only going to get wilder tomorrow, a few have already criticized Kim for the photoshoot — including Glee‘s Naya Rivera, who commented on Kim’s Instagram post, “I normally don’t. But…you’re someone’s mother…”
Not surprisingly, sources close to Kim told Us Magazine she doesn’t care what Naya thinks.
“Kim doesn’t care, she just thinks it’s funny. Naya is such a copycat, always doing whatever Kim does,” the source said, likely referencing how Naya uses Kim’s same hairdresser and allegedly picked a wedding dress that was intentionally similar to the one Kim wore when marrying Kanye.
Meanwhile, others are taking it less seriously…
Kim Kardashian looks so much like a centaur in Paper Magazine, I figured I'd take it one step further. pic.twitter.com/Sh70yV43gE
