PHOTOS: George Clooney testifies at fashion label case in Milan

Dapper Dan man George Clooney testified at court today in Milan for a case in which he claims that his name was fraudulently used to promote a fashion label called GC George Clooney.  Yeah, if he hadn’t signed off on the name GC George Clooney I could see how that might be a problem.

Clooney was his usual affable self, greeting fans and mugging for the cameras.  He testified as a civil plaintiff against three defendants during the trial.  He told reporters in Rome back in 2008 that:

“If someone tries to sell you clothes or watches that are based on me, don’t buy them.  There is some idiot going around. He’s pretending to be me.  He’s rented out hotels for 12,000 euros and bought clothes and signed my name to them.”

Here are a few shots of Clooney flashing that legendary real GC style.

Clooney addressed the court through an interpreter.  Following his estimated 90-minute-testimony, Judge Pietro Caccialanza thanked the actor and said the session “has lasted as long as a movie.”
