No surprise here: Angelina Jolie made a beautiful bride!
People and Hello! have exclusive pictures from Angie and Brad Pitt’s nuptials in France on Aug. 23. For the intimate event, which was attended by just 20 friends and family members, Angelina wore a custom dress from Luigi Massi, the master tailor at Atelier Versace. The silk gown was adorned with dozens of designs from her six children.
Meanwhile, Brad wore a suit he already owned — and, although the bride is usually the one who tries to integrate something borrowed, one of the Jolie-Pitt boys had to lend a tie to Brad because he forgot his own.
Angelina and Brad involved the kids not just in helping with their attire, but truly in almost every aspect of the day: Maddox and Pax walked their mom down the aisle. Zahara and Vivienne were flower girls. Shiloh and Knox were ring bearers. They all helped their parents pen their vows… And Pax even baked the wedding cake!
“It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter,” the newlyweds told People in a joint statement. “It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family.”
