PHOTOS Amanda Bynes looks great in first post-treatment outing
In her first public appearance since leaving an inpatient treatment facility, Amanda Bynes looked healthier and happier than she has for the past couple years. The casual outing came just hours after the Bynes’ family attorney revealed Amanda’s now getting outpatient treatment.
“She’s feeling better every day,” attorney Tamar Arminak said this morning. “She’s very happy to re-establish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared.”
Indeed, Amanda seemed to be getting along with parents Lynn and Rick Bynes during their afternoon dog-walk.
During the stroll, Amanda wore a comfortable “Gangsta Love” sweatshirt, sunglasses and baseball hat. Her short hair was pulled back into a small ponytail. She also interacted with a TMZ film crew, thanking them when they complimented her appearance.
Even though Amanda is on a healthier course, she still faces some battles — both psychologically and legally. According to New York Daily News, Amanda was supposed to show up in a NYC court to address her bong tossing incident earlier today and the judge was “irritated” when she didn’t show. Afterward, Amanda’s legal defender said the actress will likely enter a conditional dismissal deal. That should help Amanda avoid a trip back to New York.
Amanda is also continuing treatment for her reported schizophrenia on an outpatient basis. We wish her the best of luck!
