PHOTO Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman get married
Celebridom is officially minus one of the most eligible bachelorettes on the planet this weekend as Anne Hathaway got married to fiance Adam Shulman in a ceremony held in Big Sur, California on Saturday. Hathaway, 29, and Shulman, a 31-year-old actor and jewelry designer, got engaged in November and have been together a total of four years.
Anne Hathaway’s wedding was the centerpiece of a celebratory weekend that included over 100 invited guests and kicked off Friday with a rehearsal dinner at the Ventana Inn and Spa. The ceremony itself was held at a private estate in the scenic coastal California town, which is the same location used by one of the planet’s other no longer most eligible bachelorettes, Natalie Portman.
Anne Hathaway’s wedding dress was designed by Valentino and the decor at the wedding was inspired by nature with tree branches used as centerpieces to blend in with the Big Sur background.
“I am very much in love with him, [only] Adam totally ruined my plan,” Hathaway said of her surprise relationship with Shulman last year. “I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time, and then I fell in love like a fool!”
“We have house parties and dinner parties and just hang out,” Hathaway told USA Today last year. “I’m so delighted by [Adam]. He’s all the things you want a partner to be. I so find joy in his presence.”
Congratulations to Anne and Adam!
