VIDEO Miley Cyrus says she makes little people feel “sexual and beautiful”
Ronan Farrow featured some behind-the-scenes footage from a recent interview he did with Miley Cyrus for W Magazine on his new MSNBC show. During the segment he asked the pop star about her use of little people as part of her nothing-is-sacred, sexual-carnival-style Bangerz Tour.
Many critics have called her use of little people exploitative (and the show in general raunchy). All of this bemoaning caused Miley to react via Twitter as she wrote, “I don’t think people realize how much energy I put into my show and how much their bad energy brings me down.”
When asked if she felt like she was exploiting her dancers Miley said:
“No. Because we’re making them feel sexual and beautiful. If you met Brittany {sp?}, who is like one of our amazing little people that is with us, she is like… We are all about lifting her up and making her feel so sexy all the time and having her dance – she’s actually an awesome dancer.”
Here’s the clip that also includes an interview with Hollis Jane who spoke openly about feeling degraded when she performed in a bear costume during Miley’s infamous VMA performance:
