Mighty Ducks’ Shaun Weiss earns a restraining order for punching, peeing on girlfriend
Shaun Weiss, the actor known as Greg Goldberg in The Mighty Ducks, was the subject of mighty legal action this week when a judge approved his ex-girlfriend’s request for a restraining order.
The request stemmed from a particularly brutal (and bizarre) argument in April 2013 between Shaun and his girlfriend at the time Sonja Dimitrievska. She alleged he came home drunk and threatened to pull her eyes out. She let him cool off, but returned to find Shaun holding a machete. She said he punched her and followed her into the bathroom to pee on her while saying “this is all you’re worth.”
Cops apparently came to a different conclusion and ended up arresting Sonja.
This all came to light in December when TMZ reported Sonja filed a temporary restraining order request. Sonja detailed the alleged peeing attack in her filing. She added that Shaun regularly abused her throughout their two-year relationship.
After a few delays, the judge granted Sonja’s restraining order request on Tuesday. For the next five years, Shaun must stay a minimum of 100 yards away from her — which is roughly two-thirds the length of a hockey rink.
Beyond his role in The Mighty Duck trilogy, Shaun worked steadily throughout the past couple of decades — beginning with five episodes of Pee-wee’s Playhouse in 1986. His most recent feature film role was as “Bus Driver” in 2008’s Drillbit Taylor.
