Miami Social Season 1 Final Episode Recap With Video Clips

Ariel has signed on with some “real” underwear designer to cast models for an upcoming photoshoot, but things start to get awkward quickly. Ariel and the designer (Andrew Christian) are interviewing models, who are in their underwear of course, and Christian starts to ask inappropriate questions like “Can you pull down the underwear a little bit so we can see a bit of your crack?” and, “Would you do porn?” The morally upright Ariel is appalled and eventually halts the proceedings telling the designer, “OK Andrew, let me explain to you something – I will never, ever, EVER have an agency send me a model again if you talk like that.” To which Christian replies, “I’ll ask what I want. I want a model who’s gonna be comfortable doing anything…You know what? I’m the client and you’re working for me. Without me there’s no job.”

Blah, blah, blah. This whole scene seemed contrived and unbelievable. Maybe it actually happened this way. Maybe designers try to seem ridiculously inappropriate to test the people they are working with. Maybe Ariel is the fashion industry’s moral beacon of hope and a model of righteousness for all of us. Maybe not.

Sorah decides that having George hang around in their old condo is holding her back from moving on so she delivers an ultimatum to George, telling him he has to move out or she’s selling it regardless. (Word of advice Sorah – before selling it you need to have it fumigated for crazy Ukrainians.)

George, his mom and Lina once again have dinner plans, but this time Lina does them both a favor by not showing up at all. George further reveals all kinds of psychological issues in his defense of his relationship with Lina while his mother argues against the toxic duo and declares, “I raised an independent analytical thinker…I don’t understand because I didn’t produce a broken child.”

The cast is back together again (with George this time, but still smartly minus Lina) at a restaurant patio by the water. Obvious issues are addressed as George is asked, “If Sorah gave you another chance would you get back together?” To which an obviously tipsy George responds, “We just weren’t meant to be together.” Someone then asks him, “So how long do you think you’ll last with Lina?” “6 months tops,” George replies just before trying to be funny by spitting some alcohol on Hardy.

George then gets up to go to the bathroom and disappears. Someone gets a text from him (I forget who) and it says to tell Hardy he’s sorry for spitting on him and he’s gone to address the issues with Lina.

Michael gets his hair transplant and we get to see his head get little cuts while Michael rambles on in an anesthesthia-induced high about what gay men want. Katrina shows up and starts flirting with the doctor, who seems a little too receptive. Cut to more mama drama as Katrina’s mom is waiting for her when she gets home with the final divorce papers. her mom tries to plant the seed of doubt in her mind by emphasizing the finality of signing the papers and asks Katrina if she is 100% sure that its over. We get some soap opera drama and camerawork as Katrina “wrestles with her demons” and tries to decide whether to sign them or not.
