Rihanna has a recorded a second part to her haunting single about domestic violence with Eminem. This one involves her singing about the woman’s point of view, and is a really nice follow-up.
Ri-Ri wasn’t keen on the second version at first, because she felt they couldn’t top the first one. She told MTV News (via Popeater):
“When I first heard the idea about doing a part two, I was just completely against it. I just felt like you couldn’t beat the original. There’s no way you can outdo that, so why compete with it?”
But it doesn’t really compete with the original, it more fittingly completes it. Take a listen:
