Lance “Word” Bass, best known for playing the role of himself in a 12th-season episode of The Simpsons (as well as for his time as a member of pop music group N’Sync), has finally set a date.
For his marriage to long-time boyfriend Michael Turchin, that is.
Bring your faux fur-lined coats: the Bass-Turchin nuptuals will go down on December 20th.
The pair got engaged last September–that’s September of 2013, for those of you keeping track at home–but, despite their happy engagement, hadn’t felt the need to set a date for their destiny.
That is, until the pressure got to be too much. “I called Michael last night and said, ‘Babe, we have to plan something,” said Bass. “I’m tired of telling everyone we haven’t done anything yet!”
If you’re wondering whether there will be a proper N’Sync reunion at the event, though, try to keep from holding your breath. According to Bass, “I doubt we’ll be performing. I think it’s a little cheesy if I sing at all at my wedding.”
The wedding is to be filmed, though, for a special on E!.
No word on whether Party Posse will perform in N’Sync’s stead.
