Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler tied the knot in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday, June 8, and now fans are getting their first look inside their ceremony. In an all new interview, Kristin is opening up about her and Jay’s big day and sharing intimate details about their “perfect” wedding.
“The flowers and everything were very simple but it was very warm and cozy,” Kristin reveals to People Magazine. “It was all about the lighting and the candles and the atmosphere was just so warm. It was absolutely perfect.”
As expected, the couple’s 10-month old son, Camden Jack, played a big — and very adorable — part in the Woodmont Christian Church ceremony. “We had two flower girls so one of them pulled him and our nephew in a wagon, and the other flower girl was throwing rose petals behind,” Kristin explains. “I obviously didn’t get to see it, but everyone thought it was just the cutest thing. I can’t wait to see pictures!”
At Kristin and Jay’s reception, which took place at nearby historic warehouse Houston Station, their 150 guests dined on Southern comfort food and danced to a Motown band.
“They looked incredibly happy and like they were having a great time,” an eyewitness told Us Weekly. “It was a fun, laid back wedding with lots of music and dancing.”
Following the festivities, the newly wedded couple headed to their honeymoon suite and reflected on their nuptials. “We were both just like, ‘I can’t believe we did it!’ ” Kristin says. “Especially Jay, because he’s never worn a ring before. It’s going to take some getting used to.”
