Ken Urker’s Sister Says He Left Gypsy Rose More Than a Month Before His Death

Ken Urker’s sister Autumn is disputing accounts of his relationship with Gypsy Rose Blanchard, saying the pair had broken up before he died.
Urker was found dead at a residence in Raceland, Louisiana, on Thursday, October 1, his 34th birthday. He and Blanchard share a daughter, Aurora Raina, who was born in December 2024.
“They were not together,” Autumn told The U.S. Sun. She said the breakup happened “over a month ago” and claimed Ken ended the relationship. She also disputed claims of an engagement and plans for another baby.
A different account appeared in a TMZ report Friday. Citing unnamed sources familiar with the situation, the website reported that Ken had asked Gypsy for space but that the relationship had not ended. The sources said Gypsy had been staying with her parents for the previous couple of weeks while arrangements were being made to move into a new apartment together.
Gypsy’s public statements following Ken’s death, including her comments to PEOPLE and her Instagram tribute, do not explicitly confirm whether they were still a couple.

“You will always be my greatest love story,” Gypsy wrote on Instagram Friday, sharing memories of their relationship.
Gypsy told PEOPLE Ken would “forever be my soulmate and my red string.” She praised him as a father and said online harassment had affected him deeply.
“Ken endured an unimaginable level of public scrutiny and relentless cyberbullying across social media platforms, including TikTok and Reddit. The cruelty directed toward him was something no human being should have to endure,” Gypsy said. “I believe the tremendous weight of that scrutiny and harassment had a profound impact on him, and I hope his passing serves as a reminder that there is a real person behind every screen, every headline, and every comment.”
Autumn also spoke about her brother during an emotional TikTok livestream after news of his death broke. She recalled that his last words to her were “I love you.”
In her livestream, Autumn also claimed that it was Gypsy who went to TMZ with the news of Ken’s death, and also claimed that Gypsy tried to “paint a fake narrative that they were engaged.”
“Bitch, no y’all weren’t,” Autumn said. “And you’re not going to do *** do to my brother what you did to Dee Dee. You’re not lying on his name.”
@allyysssssssssaaa Oct 2 She said Ken was literally detesting Gypsy’s name the night before, also Ken’s live!? this is all so weird 😭 #GypsyRose #GypsyRoseBlanchard #KenUrker
The Lafourche Parish Coroner’s Office confirmed that an autopsy was completed Friday morning. “At this time, there is no definitive cause of death,” the office said in a statement. Toxicology testing and the investigation remain pending.
Gypsy told PEOPLE she believes Ken overdosed, but said she did not know whether it was intentional.
According to a police report, Gypsy’s sister-in-law Anita Blanchard requested a welfare check after Ken missed work and could not be reached. Gypsy’s half-brother Dylan spotted him lying on his bed through a bedroom window. Ken’s sister Savannah also separately requested a welfare check after receiving a call saying he had died.
The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office told PEOPLE investigators had found no evidence of foul play, but a spokesperson added that it could not be ruled out while the investigation remained open.
