Judge orders Teen Mom Amber Portwood to pay rent for subsidized housing she didn’t qualify for
Things have been very quiet on the Amber Portwood front of late, which has got to be a good thing for the troubled Teen Mom star. Today we received an update on a previous Amber story in which her former landlords were suing her for falsifying her income to qualify for their government subsidized housing. Earlier this month an Indiana judge ruled Amber must fork over $673 within 30 days or run the risk of further legal action. The judgment came after Amber failed to bother responding to the suit.
The amount should not be a large burden to Portwood because the reason she was being sued in the first place is she reportedly made $280,000 in 2010.
