Johannah Duggar and David Swanson wedding details
Starcasm reported in July that Johannah Duggar and David Swanson were engaged and planning a September wedding. The couple confirmed the wedding plans when they filed for an Arkansas marriage license on September 1. They had 60 days from that date to get married.
The marriage license has since been returned and Starcasm can confirm Johannah Duggar and
David Swanson were married on Thursday, September 10. The couple’s wedding was in Omaha, Arkansas. Omaha is in northern Arkansas near the Missouri border, roughly 16 miles south of Branson.
Gospel Light Baptist Church’s Noel Cwenar officiated the ceremony.
We currently do not have any additional details or photos from the ceremony, including who was (and wasn’t) in attendance (or in) the wedding. Stay tuned!
WHO IS DAVID SWANSON?
If the last name Swanson sounds familiar, that’s because David is the younger brother of Josiah Duggar’s wife, Lauren Duggar, née Swanson.
The Duggar and Swanson family had another relationship crossover as well. James Duggar courted David’s sister Lydia Swanson, but the courtship ended before an engagement.
23-year-old David Swanson is one of ten children born to Dwain Swanson and Lana Swanson. He is a few years old that Johannah, who is currently 20.
The Swanson family appeared on an episode of 19 Kids and Counting titled “Duggars Do Dinner” in 2010. At the time there were only 5 Swanson children — including Lauren and David.
Dwain Swanson runs a landscaping business and is the founder of Courageous Men of the Word, a group consisting of more than 400 men keeping each other accountable “as they grow in their love for the Lord, pray together, and exhort one another.”
