Is Rihanna done partying? Says she’s bored of the scene, is now a square
When you think of Rihanna, there may be a few words that come to mind… But, I doubt “square” is on the list. Yet, that’s how the singer described herself in a recent interview with Alan Carr for Britain’s Chatty Man.
“Recently I’ve become a square,” said the 25-year-old, Huffington Post U.K. reports.
In spite of reports Rihanna was hungover for her own concerts this summer and accusations from her celebrity BFF that she smokes too much, she told Alan she doesn’t even like partying.
“I hate partying. I don’t know if it’s my heels – I don’t like standing up in my heels for hours. I don’t know if it’s that, but I’ve been so bored of it,” she claimed. “I don’t know if it’s because it’s the same music every night – maybe we need some more DJs.”
During those rare occasions we do see pictures of Rihanna at clubs or festivals, she explained it’s just her way of enjoying accomplishments.
“I love what I do and I’ve got a lot to celebrate,” she said. “So you’ll catch me celebrating every once in awhile, because I work hard.”
Although there’s no denying that Rihanna does work hard, terming partying “celebrating” seems like a thin euphemism… But, she remained adamant.
“I am such a bootleg rock star, I do nothing, literally. I’m embarrassed to say that actually. That’s so disgusting!”
Rihanna’s full interview with Alan Carr airs in the U.K. on Friday.
