Katie Holmes just quickly settled a surprise divorce from Tom Cruise, and although there’s a lot of speculation that Tom’s fervent involvement with Scientology caused a huge problem problem for the marriage, especially as far as daughter Suri is involved, the Church of Scientology is said to have not been involved in their settlement negotiations. Scientology was also thought to have played a part in Tom’s split from second wife Nicole Kidman (and it also played a key role in his split from first wife Mimi Rogers, oddly enough all of Tom’s wives left him at the age of 33. That’s a coincidence, but it’s still a little weird.)

Now US Weekly has a source saying that Katie Holmes and Nicole Kidman have been clandestinely talking on the phone (part of Katie’s stealth leaving the marriage involved her changing her getting a secret, disposable cell.)
