Farrah Abraham changing book cover for “My Teenage Dream Ended”
We first revealed the planned cover of Teen Mom Farrah Abraham’s book My Teenage Dream Ended (above) a month ago and it seemed that even Farrah’s most adamant supporters were a bit disappointed. (Some of her less adamant supporters were happy to toss around disparaging comments that included terms like “4th grader” and “MS Paint.”)
Thankfully, Farrah seems to have taken the criticisms to heart and announced earlier today on Twitter that she will soon be revealing a new cover! Here’s her tweet:
Whew! OK, Farrah, here’s another helpful tip – don’t try to claim that the first cover was never real. There’s no way a publisher would have released it to amazon.com and other retailers if they weren’t at least tentatively planning on using it! I think your fans would greatly appreciate an admission that you reconsidered based on the feedback and chose to create a new cover. (Humility can go a long way!)
There is no word yet if she also plans to change the title after numerous people have pointed out it seems to suggest her daughter Sophia “ended” her dreams.
During the course of reporting on Farrah’s much-anticipated book, I’ve done a couple quick alternative covers just for fun – click the smaller photos for the larger images in the original posts:
Oh, and just in case you didn’t know, My Teenage Dream Ended is set to be released on April 3, 2012. You can pre-order your copy on amazon now!
