Lena Dunham (mostly) quits Twitter, will probably end Girls next season

Do Lena Dunham fans want the bad news or the worst news first? Let’s go with the bad: She has sworn off reading anything on Twitter, so don’t bother responding to her messages. As for the worse news, Dunham said she will likely wrap HBO’s Girls after the sixth season. Of Twitter, Lena told the Re/Code…

Is Adam Driver leaving Girls? Lena Dunham responds

I don’t think many people would argue that the breakout star of HBO’s breakout comedy Girls isn’t a girl at all, but actor Adam Driver, who plays Hannah’s brutally honest (sometimes just plain brutal) and frightfully unpredictable boyfriend on the show. Girls has launched Adam into superstar status, and he is capitalizing with an incredibly…

Girls recap: Hannah’s attempt at roleplaying turns sour

Last night’s Girls opened with 99 Red Luft Balloons (awesome) and Hannah Horvath pounding shots of liquor until she puked herself in the street. The real trouble began when she came home after spending the night with a male coworker (who nursed her while she puked her guts out in his bathroom and gulped down water from his showerhead,) and Adam didn’t seem to care. He didn’t care that she had spent the night with a dude, and didn’t care that she had been violently ill the night before. Adam, usually a man of grand emotion, was fresh out of cares.

Marnie’s wonderfully terrible “What I Am” music video from Girls is my new favorite thing

On last night’s episode of HBO’s Girls we were treated to Marnie’s ex boyfriend Charlie’s version of revenge p0rn, which was an excruciatingly cringe-worthy music video featuring Marnie performing Edie Brickell’s hipster anthem “What I Am.” Keep reading to watch the clip, see some glorious still photos and find out what actress Allison Williams had to say about the masterpiece of angry angsty camp at the Girls Season 3 Premiere event!

Why is Lena Dunham always naked on Girls?

Lena Dunham is often naked on her HBO series Girls, and a lot of people have a lot of opinions about that. Recently, the issue of Lena’s on-screen skin came to a head when The Wrap reporter Tim Molloy asked Lena and her producer Judd Apatow about it during a Television Critics Association panel. Why is Lena naked a lot of the time? Why does it even matter?

Charlie actor Christopher Abbott leaving Girls, reportedly due to issues with Lena Dunham

Girls actor Christopher Abbott, who plays Marnie’s on-again, off-again, on-forever boyfriend Charlie, has left the show soon after filming began on Season 3. The departure comes after it appeared that Christopher’s role would increase on the show following his reconciliation with Marnie, played by Allison Williams. Keep reading for a statement from Abbott’s rep and my three suggestions for how they should write Charlie off the show.

What was the cast of Girls up to before the show?

Before they were cast in the acclaimed Emmy and Golden Globe-winning HBO show, Girls, Lena Dunham, Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke, and Zosia Mamet were just… girls… albeit, girls who came from famous families with a few more privileges than most, but girls nonetheless. We take a look at what the girls were like before becoming involved with the hit show.

Lena Dunham opens up about life-long battle with anxiety and OCD, and why she’s afraid of Klonopin

Golden Globe golden girl Lena Dunham covered the February 2013 issue of Rolling Stone magazine, and offered a little more information about who she is.

It’s no surprise that the Girls‘ creator and star has suffered from anxiety since childhood because her character Hannah, Lena’s alter-ego of sorts, is riddled with fears, self-esteem issues, and over-analyzation.
