First his company went public, making him a quick $16.9 billion, and the next day he married long time girlfriend Priscilla Chan in a ceremony that surprised their guests. Saturday their friends and family thought they were flocking to a graduation celebration for Priscilla, who graduated from University of California, San Francisco medical school Monday (which was also Mark’s birthday,) but they were actually showing up for their wedding!

Mark just rang the NASDAQ bell as Facebook stock begins its first day of trading in the largest IPO in internet history. In true laid-back youth-business-revolution fashion the 28-year-old rang the bell via satellite from the Facebook offices wearing a trademark hoodie. Experts have estimated that the mercurial entrepreneur could make somewhere in the neighborhood of $20 billion… TODAY.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was kind enough to provide a graduation speech for the 8th graders of Belle Haven Community School in Menlo Park, CA. He was his usually unexcitable self as he donned a t-shirt, jeans and sneakers and gave a pretty standard “follow your dreams” and “value your friends” type of talk. The theme was, “Eliminating the words, ‘I can’t.'” Sadly for Principal Maria Ibarra she couldn’t get Mark’s name right and is now officially nominated for the video FAIL of the week!
