Brittany Maggard: Jenelle Evans made money from fight video
Time for the latest in Jenelltdown 2011 and this time it’s all about how much the fight video sold for and who was in on it.
Brittany Maggard (the pusher) has been talking up a storm to TMZ about the fight and in her ongoing and surprisingly candid revelations she told them that the tape was sold for $5,000. Maggard, who has been arrested twice in just this past week, also stated that she, her sister and another “friend” Nick encouraged Jenelle to start the fight.
Here’s where it gets interesting, well even MORE interesting. Maggard goes on to claim that it was this Nick fellow who had a video camera and that it was his idea after the fight to sell the tape. Then, she stated that Jenelle got in on the action believing it was a good idea and that she knew of a photo agency that would purchase the video! Furthermore, Evans wanted a big cut of the action arguing that if she wasn’t famous the video wouldn’t be worth anything.
So Maggard’s version of the story is that she, her sister, this Nick dude and Jenelle were all in on selling the video and that they got 5 large for it. Now lets here Jenelle’s version.
Evans exclusively spoke with E News and claimed that Maggard told her that the now infamous brawl footage sold for $45,000! E quoted Evans as saying:
“She (Maggard) told me herself and I got very upset. I cried for two hours.”
One very important thing that isn’t mentioned is how both Maggard and Evans’ statements appear to clear the girl on the wrong end of Evans’ fists, Britany Truett from any involvement in a set up. Also lost in all this fight mess is the current situation in regards to Jenelle’s son Jace. There has been no word yet from Evans’ mother Barbara, who currently has legal custody.
So which version do you believe and most importantly do you think Evans made money from selling the fight video?
