Congratulations are in order for the whole Bates family: Bringing Up Bates stars John and Alyssa Webster welcomed their first child on Saturday, April 11.
“We are so excited to welcome our healthy, beautiful baby girl Allie Jane into the world,” the new parents told OK! Magazine. “We are ecstatic and grateful to receive this precious gift. We know she will be showered with lots of love from her grandparents and her aunts and uncles.”
And that’s a lot of love! Just like their friends the Duggars, Gil and Kelly Jo Bates have 19 kids. Although 20-year-old Alyssa is the sixth-born, she’s the second to have a baby, following the birth of oldest brother Zach Bates’ son last October. Older sister Erin Paine is due to welcome a baby boy in June.
Speaking after little Allie’s birth, Gil and Kelly Jo said they are “truly overjoyed” to have welcomed their first granddaughter.
“She’s stolen her grandparents’ hearts already,” they added. “We are beyond blessed and our hearts are full.”
The second season of Bringing Up Bates premieres on Up TV on June 4.
