Breakout star of The Hunger Games? Seneca Crane (Wes Bentley)’s beard art
Forget Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, or even Elizabeth Banks and her stunning fashions as Effie Trinket, the breakout star of the box office smash hit The Hunger Games is Seneca Crane (Wes Bentley)’s beard!
It’s a facial hair work of art that launched it’s own meme bigger than Angelina’s leg (in fact, why not put the two things together?)

Seneca Crane’s beard even has it’s own Facebook Page (The Beard has a Twitter too! Holla!) Here’s a video of Wes Bentley reacting to that:
Since the facial hair was all his (don’t laugh, Jennifer Lawrence had her hair rented for the film) Wes had to wear his finely sculpted beard while running errands while filming in North Carolina, but oddly enough no one batted an eye when they saw it. He told New York Magazine:
Yeah, I went to Target all the time — I had to buy baby formula with this beard! But no one ever reacted to it. Maybe they were being polite. Maybe it was that controlled Southern thing, and they just wouldn’t say anything.
This is the best movie beard of all time! Seriously, guys are gonna be wearing this with their Ed Hardy T-shirts everywhere (some of them will try for the hard, symmetrical lines, and fail miserably. If you’re gonna do this look, go to a professional.)
