Lionsgate has released official character poster for eight of the characters from its much-anticipated, sure-to-be-blockbuster film The Hunger Games. The dark, sleek posters feature the profiles of Katniss, Peeta, Gale, Haymitch, Effie, Cinna, Rue and Cato and were released to eight different web sites earlier today. (Links below)
Above we see Katniss Everdeen (played by Jennifer Lawrence), the only one who gets to show the right side of her face in the eight posters. And here we have the only scruffy one in the bunch, Haymitch Abernathy (played by Woody Harrelson):
The posters are sure to whet the appetites of hungry Hunger Games fans who have been anxiously awaiting substantial marketing from Lionsgate, who have been flirtatiously conservative in their marketing so far. (Check out their first official movie poster release HERE, which is somehow really, really cool without actually showing anything from the film.)
