Audrina Patridge files for restraining order and divorce from Corey Bohan
The Hills star Audrina Patridge has filed for divorce from her husband of less than a year, Corey Bohan. The divorce filing comes two days after Audrina filed a restraining order against Corey in which she claims he called her a “f**king c*nt” and threatened suicide more than once.
Audrina was granted the restraining order on Monday, and in her application she shares some of the allegations that had her fearful for her own safety, as well as the safety of her and Corey’s one-year-old daughter, Kirra Max.
In the document, Audrina says that Corey has threatened suicide on multiple occasions, with the first instance being in July of this year when she was out of town on a business trip. The next instance also included a physical altercation while Audrina was holding Kirra.
From TMZ:
In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Audrina says the violence began in mid August when they argued about her accusing him of cheating. She says she was holding their daughter, Kirra Max, when Corey pushed her back. Audrina says he then emptied out her backpack and purse, and began punching himself in the head … and threatening to bash himself in the head with a metal canister if she left.
Then, one month later:
According to docs, on Sept. 6, Corey was at home watching Kirra, and when Audrina got home, he began calling her names and harassing her. Audrina says she grabbed Kirra and went upstairs, but he followed and told her she’s “f**ked up” because of her childhood and her messed up mother. She says she started recording video of him, and he said, “Grow some balls and pull the trigger and file for divorce.”
Audrina called the police and there was a follow-up visit from CPS on September 15.
Things continued to escalate, however. This past weekend, Audrina was a panel member at a beauty event when “Corey showed up and followed her on the stage,” according to TMZ. “She doesn’t say it got physical, but he demanded to know where Kirra was and said he was going to get her. Audrina says, ‘I was shaking at this point.'”
Audrina filed for a restraining order on Monday, and the judge granted it the same day. As is often the case in these sort of situations, it appears that the restraining order only made Corey angrier and more erratic as he reportedly showed up at the house on Tuesday and installed five video cameras to keep track of Audrina!
“When she told him to leave she says he called her a “f***ing c**t,'” reports TMZ. The site says that police were called and responded to the situation, but it is unclear if any action was taken.
TMZ details what Audrina is looking for in the divorce filing:
As for the divorce, she wants primary physical and legal custody of their 15-month-old daughter, Kirra. She wants the judge to shut Corey Bohan down if he asks for spousal support. And, she wants an order specifically prohibiting Bohan from taking Kirra to his native land — Australia.
Audrina and Corey’s relationship has been anything but smooth sailing over the last eight years, including a very public break up back in 2014.
The two would later reconcile, and an engagement followed in November of 2015. Less than a month after their engagement announcement, Audrina revealed that she was pregnant with their first child.
Kirra Max was born on June 24, 2016. Audrina and Corey got married in Hawaii later that year on November 7.
