AUDIO Miley Cyrus’ new single about sex, drugs and strip clubs

Miley Cyrus We Can't Stop Top

Back in 2009, Miley Cyrus was an innocent Disney alumna who sang of her introduction to Los Angeles in Party in the USA: “Welcome to the land of fame, excess, whoa am I gotta fit in?”

Four years later, Miley is back with We Can’t Stop, a new single that proves — yes — she does fit into the infamous party scene of young Hollywood.

To my homegirls here with the big butts
Shaking it like we at a strip club
Remember only God can judge us
Forget the haters cause somebody loves ya
And everyone in line in the bathroom
Trying to get a line in the bathroom
We all so turnt up here
Getting turnt up yea yea

Miley, whose good-girl reputation was shaken by a video of her taking a bong hit in 2010, seems to go on to sing about “dancing with Molly.” According to Urban Dictionary, “Molly” is the purest form of ecstasy, a popular party drug.

Those who still want to believe the best of the young star argue she is singing “dancing with Miley.” (However, getting too nitpicky about that one line seems like a waste of time, considering she sings loudly and clearly about getting a line in the bathroom.)

Regardless of whether Miley is singing about personal experiences, this seems like her best song since Party in the U.S.A. And, yes, I am very comfortable in admitting my love for that anthem.

What do you think of her new song? It’s already No. 1 on iTunes!
