Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum to marry this fall — in televised wedding!
Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum fell in love and got engaged on the 7th season of The Bachelorette. Ashley had previously starred on Brad Womack’s season of The Bachelor but was eliminated after making it to the final three. Now, after years of trying to find love in the national spotlight, Ashley is ready to wed.
According to a new report, Ashley and JP will solidify their reality TV love this fall. They have yet to settle on a date but have settled on a network — ABC, of course! That’s right Bachelor and Bachelorette fans, Ashley and JP will star in the second franchise wedding to air on TV, and as usual, Chris Harrison will be hosting. JP, will you accept this rose ring?
“I want it to be a big celebration,” reveals Ashley, who has an East Coast location picked out for her upcoming nuptials. “My dream is for it to be outside in a big open field, very down-to-earth.”
Ashley’s fiance is letting her take the reigns in the planning process. “I want to give her the wedding of her dreams,” JP told Life & Style, “and will be involved as much or as little as she wants!” Typically, showing up to the big day is all that is needed from the groom.
As fans may remember, the first Bachelorette star, Trista Sutter, married her man, Ryan Sutter, in a televised wedding after getting engaged on the show. They will celebrate their 10-year anniversary next year! We hope Ashley and JP’s marriage will be just as successful and let’s be honest, the franchise could benefit from having another successful marriage under its belt!
UPDATE: Us Weekly has just confirmed that Ashley and JP are tying the knot this December and fans WILL get to see the wedding go down on TV.
