After rumors that Dr. Drew’s Celebrity Rehab may not be back for a new season due to their inability to find willing “celebrity” participants, the reality treatment program allegedly shelled out some big bucks and landed Tiger Woods mistress matron Rachel Uchitel!
The announcement that the first domino to fall in the Tiger Woods sex scandal would be a cast member comes on the heels of Donald Trump extending an invitation to “The Oooch” to appear on his highly successful reality competition show, Celebrity Apprentice. So we’ll be seeing almost as much of Rachel Uchitel as Tiger Woods did in the upcoming weeks! It seems that the world’s oldest profession can lead to numerous jobs in the world’s newest profession!
TMZ reports:
Sources connected to the production tell us Uchitel had originally turned down the show — but after producers DOUBLED their offer and Dr. Drew personally paid Uchitel a visit, Rachel changed her mind.
A rep for VH-1 tells the site that Uchitel hopes to “kick an addiction to pills.” (Pretty vague, huh?)
UPDATE – Donald Trump has rescinded his offer to Rachel Uchitel to appear on Celebrity Apprentice. From TMZ:
“It’s a terrible decision. We have zero interest in her now,” Trump told TMZ after it was revealed that Uchitel entered a Pasadena rehabilitation center this weekend in order to appear on “Celebrity Rehab.” “Look at what ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ did for Piers Morgan,” Trump continued. “He’s getting Larry King’s job. She made a bad mistake.”

A. JANICE DICKINSON – The world’s first super-model, but just another in a long line of super-egos, this eccentric diva recently tried her hand at a different type of reality stardom when she trekked down to the South American rain forest for I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! last year. Her stint on the show was highlighted by a budding friendship with Sonjaya and lowlighted by her over-sized abdomen caused by sever constipation.

B. FRANKIE LONS – Yet another eccentric diva, Frankie is the mother of R&B singer Keyshia Cole and appeared with her on the shows Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is and Frankie & Neffe. During an appearance on the Rickey Smiley radio show, Frankie was asked if she was going on Celebrity Rehab, to which she responded:
“Absolutely. That’s cause I had really started overdoing it with my drinking. It’s really taking its toll because sometimes I wake up and don’t remember nothing. Basically I’m hiding stuff from myself and that means that I need help.”
Smiley then asked when she knew she needed help:
“Last month. Well, I’ve been in denial. I thought I was drinking socially until I woke up and didn’t realize where I was. Sometimes I feel like I know I’ve got it under control, but that’s just the devil.”
C. JEREMY LONDON – Jeremy’s brief stardom was highlighted by his appearances in Party of Five and Mallrats. Since that heyday, the only time Jeremy’s name shows up in the headlines is usually because of some issues with his drug abuse problems, including a recent story involving a kidnapping that may or may not have been completely fabricated. According to TMZ, Jeremy is “going through serious withdrawals. According to a source at the rehab center, the staff there is looking into a treatment program that would last 3-6 months after “Celebrity Rehab” ends.”

E. RACHEL UCHITEL – Tiger Woods mistress number one! The Ooch sits atop the Tiger Woods Mistress Scorecard and is the most famous of the golfer’s dilly-dalliances. A nightclub hostess in New York City, Rachel is reportedly trying to kick an addiction to pills, though we have no idea what kind of pills. TMZ is also suggesting that it was more than money and the chance to kick her addiction that made Rachel decide to appear on the show:
Sources tell us after Rachel initially turned down “Rehab” — Dr. Drew wanted a personal sit-down to change her mind … and she only agreed to the meeting because she says she has a mad crush on him.
Let’s hope Rachel Uchitel’s infatuation with Dr. Drew is healthier than that of his convicted stalker Charles Pearson!
F. JASON WAHLER – Appeared on Laguna Beach and The Hills and actually dated Lauren Conrad for a while before succumbing to a lifelong addiction to being arrested. His numerous brushes with the law include a couple DUIs, assaulting a tow truck driver, excessive drinking, disorderly conduct and most recently, misdemeanor battery for assaulting a woman on June 7 of 2010.
G. JASON DAVIS – Flamboyant overweight heir to billions thanks to his grandfather , who ran Davis Oil Company and even owned 20th Century Fox for a number of years. Unaffectionately referred to as “Gummi Bear,” Jason has been making headlines over the years for his shocking verbal and fashion statements as well as his issues with drugs and alcohol. Earlier this year he appeared on Bravo’s Millionaire Matchmaker, leading many to accuse the program of jumping the shark. Jason has a brother Brandon Davis, who has earned the nickname “Greasy Bear.”

LEIF GARRETT – Musician and teen heartthrob in the late 1970s, Leif Garrett’s troubles began when he crashed his car while under the influence of Quaaludes just a few weeks shy of his 18th birthday. The crash left his friend Roland Winkler, who was a passenger in the car, a paraplegic. Leif’s most recently made headlines when he was arrested on February 1, 2010 with black tar heroine in his shoe.
