Next up is the “You ask, they tell” video featuring Brendon answering questions from fans. This will give you a quick snapshot of his personality – for better or worse. (I’ve transcribed the questions and answers and included them below the video.)

Q: What made you want to be on Big Brother? (granny4life1)

A: What granny4life 1 is wondering – Big Brother just kind of enticed me. It seemed like a great opportunity for me to do something that’s going to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity right before school starts. So I’m about to commit myself for about five years to my PhD, so I thought this would be definitely an amazing experience and if I could win half a million dollars, you know, I mean, all the better. So, yeah, I’m just excited to be in the house.

Q: Do you believe in backstabbing or backdooring someone while in the house? (sebasusu)

A: Hey sebasusu! Well, I definitely do believe in backstabbing and backdooring someone in the house just for the fact that this is what we’re here to do, we’re here to win, and if that takes turning against somebody or backstabbing somebody, ah, this is only a game, so I’m here to play and I’m here to play competitively. And if it means turning against somebody, well so be it. I’m here to win half a million dollars and I hope that the person I do that to understands when we’re out of the house.

Q: Will you tell any lies about yourself while in the house? (pinkcupcakes)

A: Well pinkcupcakes, Im gonna start off by entering the house with a big lie. I’m telling people that I am a swim coach, which is true, so – but, I am not going to be telling them that I am a physicist. So I don’t want people thinking that I am any smarter than I make myself out to be. So, I am entering the house assuming that people are going to be a little intimidated by my physical appearance and think that I’m athletic and I’m going to be a little bit of a threat in the competitions. What I really don’t want them to think is that I’m going to be a threat in the mental competitions.

Q: Are you going to be a bitter jury member if you make it that far because you didn’t win? (panther6446)

A: Well panther 6446, I am definitely not going to be a bitter jury member if I have to be. Um, this is a positive experience and I’m here to have a good time. I don;t want to leave this house angry or bitter. Um, You know, maybe it happens – I get my feelings hurt a little bit inside the house. I’m anticipating it, but I’m also going to be using my logic and my senses – common sense to really, you know, master the house and really manipulate the house. So if, if I make it that far and I get voted out it happens, so I’m here to have fun. I’m here to win a half million dollars and I’m really not anticipating this happening.

Big Brother 12's Brendon Villegas is both athletic and brainy

Prediction: I can’t imagine ol’ Brendon’s gonna make it too far. He has a certain way about him that makes you wanna punch him in the mouth. Of course, that’s coming from a guy’s perspective. Generally women tend to really be attracted to guys other guys want to punch in the mouth, so maybe that will be enough to keep him afloat for a while.

Odds of being the Saboteur: I give Brendon about a 5% chance of being the saboteur. He appears to be a really bad actor, but there’s always that slight chance he’s a really good actor acting like a bad actor! (Huh?)
