Nick Gordon has completed a rehab stint, eight weeks after admitting he was abusing drugs and alcohol in the wake of girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown’s medical emergency.
“I can confirm that Nick is no longer in rehab,” lawyer Randy Kessler told People. Another source said Nick is staying with his mom, Michelle Gordon.
It’s unclear whether he’s attempted to have any contact with the Brown and Houston families in an effort to see Bobbi Kristina, who remains unresponsive. When he left for treatment, another source told People Nick was “very distraught over what is going on” with Bobbi Kristina.
“He really wants to see her,” the insider said in March. “He is upset about a lot of things: her being sick, him never getting respect.”
After Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious in her bathtub on Jan. 31, her aunt said there was “strong evidence of foul play” and pointed a finger at Nick. She added, “If Nick Gordon does not have the courage to speak with my brother Bobby Brown and/or law enforcement about what happened the day my niece’s body was found in a bathtub, he does not deserve to have a platform to speak to anyone of your caliber until this investigation is concluded.”
