Although it sounded like a match made in heaven, Tim Tebow and Jana Duggar are not courting.
Rumors of a potential match began last month, after Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar hobnobbed with Tim’s mom, Pat Tebow. The story really caught on when a “source” said Jim Bob was trying to set his oldest daughter up with the former NFL quarterback.
“Tim would be a perfect addition to the family and a feather in his cap, the insider said. “Can you imagine the press attention a Tim-Jana wedding would get?”
However, the rumors simply aren’t true.
“Tim and Jana Duggar have never even met,” Tim’s representative told Us Weekly.
Last month, Jana confirmed she isn’t in a courtship — although her dad added there has been a lot of interest.
“Jana is one of the prettiest girls in the world and one of the sweetest girls… I have gone to hear about each one, and so far she hasn’t felt that is the way the Lord is leading,” he explained of would-be suitors shot down by the 24-year-old.
In other Duggar news, TLC revealed during Josh and Anna Duggar’s pregnancy announcement that the new season of 19 Kids and Counting will premiere in February 2015. Josh also told The Washington Post his fourth child is due in early June.
