Kim Zolciak and her husband Kroy have been married for a year and a half now and have two sons of their own — Kroy Jagger and Kash Kade. Kim also has two daughters from previous relationships. Although Brielle and Ariana’s fathers have been out of the picture for a while now, they are still legally theirs but soon, Kroy hopes to legally take over as the girls’ father.
TMZ reports that Kroy is ready to file the documents necessary to legally become the father of 15-year-old Brielle and 11-year-old Ariana. Kroy already considers the girls his own and they feel that he’s their dad as well. Now, all that’s left to do is make it official.
Kroy will appear in court next month where a judge will need to give his approval on the adoption. Once that’s done, Kroy will be a daddy of four!
Brielle’s father Daniel Toce was recently released from prison for sexually assaulting a minor. The whereabouts of Ariana’s father are less clear. Typically, the father’s rights need to either be stripped or signed over. In Daniel’s case, they will likely be stripped, but since not much is known about Ariana’s dad, that may be more complicated for Kroy.
Last year, Brielle opened up about the possible adoption on Twitter. “Kroys in the process of adopting me and I’ll call him ‘dad’ until the day I die because that’s what he is to me,” she said.
