Bethenny Frankel and her husband Jason Hoppy have been the target of divorce rumors for a year now. Even so, they’ve remained united, but have the two finally let all of it go to their heads and impact their relationship?
Bethenny has revealed to In Touch Weekly that she and Jason spent some much needed time apart this summer — even living separately for a month and a half!
“Bryn and I spent the last six weeks in the Hamptons playing on the beach. We just had a magical, amazing summer. Jason was in the city working, and it was nice,” Bethenny tells In Touch. “He came on the weekends. It was good for her that we got to do outdoor activities. It was good for me, because I was ready to crack.”
Bethenny has always had an odd outlook on marriage but her unconventional ways seem to work for her and Jason. Although it may appear to be a red flag to most when they hear of a couple living apart, for them, the space is sometimes necessary and hasn’t lead to a split — yet. However, more recently, Bethenny has been vocal about her marriage not being easy and even called her and Jason’s second year of marriage “rough.” The audience has seem them squabble on the show, and Bethenny tell her therapist about how bad their fights can get. Maybe they’re just trying to make their marriage work by not spending time with each other!
A source also told that magazine that when Bethenny returned to New York City, she continued on with her independent lifestyle, away from her husband. On top of that, the source tells In Touch Weekly, “When Jason did make it out to the Hamptons on weekends this summer, it was for Bryn.”
