In this week’s “Where Are They Now: Reality Superstar Edition,” former Jon & Kate Plus 8 dad Jon Gosselin is reportedly in such financial straits that he has moved into a Pennsylvania townhouse with his mother, Pamela Castello. But that’s not the worst of it! According to the report, his 65-year-old mom is paying the rent and is letting Jon use her “beat-up vehicle” for transportation.
It seems like just yesterday Jon was hooking up with his 22-year-old girlfriend Hailey Glassman and hanging out with Christian Audigier in Cannes, and now the 34-year-old, who once announced in legal documents that he was too famous to get a normal job, has really hit rock bottom.

While battling TLC in a breach of contract lawsuit, Jon says the reason he can’t simply go out and get a regular job is because he’s too famous!
Jon Gosselin has a new roommate – his mom!
The former star of “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ has finally hit rock bottom and was so down and out that his 65-year-old mother Pamela Castello moved halfway across the state of Pennsylvania to share a townhome with him, say sources.
Pamela pays the rent and shares her beat-up vehicle with the father of eight.
“Jon is going broke – has has no job and I think he has used and abused all the people close to him that helped him financially, like his brother Mark,” revealed an insider.
“He’d wanted his mom to move to the Reading, PA area for a while, and since she is almost the only person left that will still help him financially, he talked her into getting a townhouse – and she pays rent…
“When Jon and Ellen [his last girlfriend] lived together, Ellen split the rent with Jon’s mother – it’s quite sad, actually,” said the insider.
In December, The Enquirer reported that times were so tough for the former IT specialist – who’s now dating single mother-of-three Elizabetta Jannetta – that his beloved BMW was repossessed, and he had to borrow his mother’s beat up minivan.
“He has eight children to provide for and has to turn to his mother to help support him.”
So I guess Jon lost his construction job? And Kate’s now doing coupon blogging? How in the world are they supporting those eight kids?!?
What’s weird is that Jon seems to have come full circle in that he seemed to be living with his mom (in the form of the nit-picky and domineering Kate) on the show and now her actually is living with his mother!
In a way it’s sad that the cameras stopped rolling on the lives of Jon and Kate because their story over the last few years would have been an amazing documentary. When I was writing this article I clicked on our “Jon Gossellin” category link and browsed through all the posts we have written about him. It really is amazing what this family has gone through ever since the day they found out they were having sextuplets.
