When we saw the first leaked images of Julianne Moore as Alaskan Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin we had a feeling that she was going to give Tina Fey a run for her Palin-likeness money. Now that I’ve caught the first official trailer for the HBO film Game Change nothing has swayed me from that opinion.
Game Change is based on the book of the same name written by journalists John Heilemann and Mark Halperin. It is a piece that follows the 2008 Republican presidential campaign of Senator John McCain. Along with Moore as Palin, Ed Harris portrays McCain and Woody Harrelson takes a turn as the campaign manager Steve Schmidt.
The movie is coming to HBO in March and just in case you weren’t aware of the big three of Moore, Harris and Harrelson are all Oscar nominated actors.
