We continue to roll out the relationship status spoilers for the cast of TLC’s new reality series 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way! Although all the new couples featured in the preview trailer raised some eyebrows among fans, perhaps none raised them higher than Laura and Aladin.
51-year-old Laura from Eustis, Florida is already inspiring comparisons to Before the 90 Days star Angela Deem. Meanwhile, 29-year-old personal trainer Aladin from Qatar seems like a cross between Mohamed Jbali and Jesse Meester. Did Aladin have a happier ending than those two guys?
If they were taking 90 Day Fiance bets in Vegas I probably would have lost some money on this one. It looks like Laura and Aladin did get married and are living their happily ever after!
Unfortunately, the timeline seems a little murky going solely by social media posts. Aladin posted on Facebook that he was engaged on May 10, 2018. Exactly one month later he changed his status to married. That seems a wee bit early given that TLC didn’t even announce the show until July. Maybe the status change was just a show of faith to Laura while they waited for their actual wedding?

UPDATE – The timeline has since been explained as Laura and Aladin revealed on the show that they got married very shortly after first meeting! That was supposedly “just on paper” though, and the couple plans to have an actual wedding when Laura moves to Qatar permanently.

Aladin and Laura both posted what look to be wedding photos in September, which lines up better as far as show production. Here are a couple of the pictures:
In all of the photos taken after late September, Laura and Aladin are wearing wedding rings. Laura does not have a visible relationship status on Facebook, but she is currently using Aladin’s last name.
Although you can’t see their rings in this next photo of the two of them, it is the most recent that I could find. It was posted on March 29, and they still look happy and going strong!
As mentioned in her TLC bio, Laura is retired and she opted to leave her family and two dogs behind in Florida in order to marry Aladin. It seems as though the genie has granted her wish and she is living out her Disney fairy tale!
