Aspiring model Ann Ward took the internet by storm when an America’s Next Top Model cycle 15 preview clip featured the 6’2″ skinny girl, sparking all sorts of debate about skinniness and beauty.
Ann appeared a bit gangly and awkward both physically and in personality when Tyra’s popular reality competition kicked off, but she literally and figuratively held her head high and showed everyone she wasn’t just a flash-in-the-pan watercooler topic of conversation by bringing the glam week in and week out and eventually winning the entire competition!
Part of the spoils of winning this season is a spread in Italian Vogue and thanks to Vogue.it we have a preview of what that spread is going to look like! At least we have a faded black and white preview of what that spread is going to look like:
And here is a photo from makeup artist extraordinaire Troy Jensen’s site on CargoCollective.com showing Ann with the full-on professional glam blitz:
And because Troy included it on his site, and as a nod to the hard working men and women in the make-up business, here is a complete list of all the products used in achieving the above look:
Ann Ward Wears Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in place Concealer #Light, Double Wear Light Stay in place Makeup #Intensity 1.0, Lucidity Translucent Pressed Powder #Light, Estee Lauder Signature Silky Powder Blush #Tender Petal, Pure Color Eyeshadow #Sandbar Beige, Double Wear Zero-Smudge Lengthening Mascara #Black, Brow Perfecting Duo #Brunette, Brow Setting Gel, Double Wear Stay-in-place Lip pencil #Tawny, Pure Color Gloss #Shocking Pink.
To finish things off, and to show that the folks at America’s Next Top Model saw something more in Ann than potential viral marketing due to her abnormal frame, here are a couple pre-show photos from Ann’s Facebook page. (The photo at the top is also from her Facebook page)
Just like any pretty woman Ann is sure to draw her fair share of criticism, but I think she looks great! As long as her height/weight isn’t a health concern then I applaud her success and look forward to seeing more of her!
