Teen Mom star Amber Portwood wants everybody to know that she could have slapped Farrah Abraham much harder during the infamous reunion show!
Amber sat down with OK! and fielded questions about the infamous fight with Farrah, her wedding plans with Matt Baier and her recent weight loss.
Gary said that the TMOG reunion fight is a reason he can’t fully trust you with Leah. What is it like to hear that?
AP: He needs to get over things like that. Obviously if you watched what happened I could have done something and I didn’t. And that half-a** slap was a half-a** slap for a reason. The message pretty much was that you just can’t be a bully and talk about anybody the way you want. You bullied this whole entire crew to my people that I love, like Catelynn [Lowell] and Maci [Bookout]… For him to sit there and say that… I’m not unstable in any way. Do you get what I’m saying? I don’t get it.
Fans steeped in Teen Mom history can certainly verify that Gary Shirley surely knows the difference between a full and half-a** slap from Amber!
Tell us about your weight loss transformation.
AP: When I got on my certain medications finally, for my bipolar and my borderline and all the “amazing” things that I’m going through, my weight went up 30 pounds. Now I’m on a different diet where I try to eat just good and healthy food, right portions and it’s really hard because I have a lot of cravings for the bad food and stuff. I don’t know why, but mental medications do that to you. It’s crazy… I’ve lost 15 pounds and I’m doing jiu-jitsu again… I also go work out 3 times a week.
Why did you admit that your borderline personality diagnosis caused your weight gain?
AP: People who actually have the same mental illnesses like bipolar or borderline ask me questions so this would be something I would really like to do because I want to inspire women and show women that—you’re going to be ok.
Can you tell us any wedding dates?
AP: The venue’s set but I cannot… I have like 5 different styled dresses and I don’t know which style I want. I’m that picky. It’s going to be crazy.
Will the MTV cameras be at your wedding?
AP: That’s the decision that we haven’t made yet and I know everybody thinks of course she’s going to do it but actually no… If it’s going to get in my way, this is my day, I don’t get paid any extra for them to be there, but then again I think about my fans and how they would want to see it and stuff like that… We’ll see.
