Medics responded to a 911 call believed to have been placed by Alec Baldwin’s daughter Ireland claiming that the 51-year-old actor was unresponsive to her attempts to rouse him.
Ireland, Baldwin’s daughter with actress Kim Basinger, told the operator that he might have taken pills, according to sources familiar with the incident. Medics arrived at Baldwin’s West Side apartment where he had regained consciousness and agreed to be taken to the hospital. Sources for NBC say he was treated and released in close to an hour.
According to NBC: “Baldwin, who is due to co-host the Academy Awards next month, was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital. A spokesman for the actor says Baldwin is fine.”
